Nest # 2 status and archive, 2012-13

Male band #4235. This male is 6 years old, has built nests and paired with a female in the past, but never raised chicks. We hope they will be successful this year. They are in a nesting colony on flat ground without any protective rocks around them, but here are about 20 nesting pairs so they may be able to fend off the Skuas.

First egg: Nov 17 ( both eggs were first seen on Nov 17th, they may have been laid on the 15th or 16th)
