Nest #1 Status and Archives, 2015-2016

Nov 27, 2015. This male is banded #1050, has raised chicks the last three years and been in our study before. He has made a strong nest near the same spot as the last two years and we belive he has the same mate. When we arrived this year the eggs were already laid. He is 13 years old, hatched in 2001 and returned to Cape Royds in 2003 as a 2 year old. Follow along as he raises his family. He has been named Blissard and his mate is Snowball by the 5th grade students in Amy Adkins class, in Oak View, West Virginia.

Dec 24 Both chicks have hatcehd. Their names are McDonogh by the students in Ms Irving's class at McDonogh School, Baltimore MD, and Happy Feet by the students in Sandra Sullivan's class,Fall River Schools, MA.
