Nest #9 status and archive, 2015-16

The banded male is 9 years old and has been seen in the colony yearly from 2010 through 2012 and again in 2014, but he has never had a nest. This is his first time. The nest is in the Bronx breeding group and they have some good rock around them to help keep the SKuas away. The male is Pablo and his mate is Kimchi. They were named by the students of Emily Perry and Ms Poknis at Thomas Viaduct Middle School in Howard Co Maryland. The chick has been named Tundra by Ms Ricks' class at Howard R. Driggs ES in Salt Lake City, Utah.

We do not know when the eggs were laid.
